Real Men of Genius: Christopher Columbus

According to this article, Christopher Columbus’ crew is responsible for the first recorded case of syphilis. Looks like the Puerto Ricans now have two reasons to hate Columbus Day! (Sorry, that was of poor taste, but it was just too tempting.)
